Privacy Policy

Yalla Emirati provides Emirati Arabic lessons on the web and iPhone. This policy explains what information we use to run your account, save your learning, and provide purchases.

Your account and learning

Guests can use free lessons without an account. When you sign in, Supabase processes your email address, authentication details, display name, timezone, and learning progress so your learning follows you across devices. Native sign-in tokens are stored in secure device storage. Web sessions use secure cookies in production.

Payments and diagnostics

Stripe processes web payments. Superwall presents App Store offers and handles purchases and restores; Apple processes and verifies those App Store transactions. We link purchase access to your account ID; we do not receive your full payment card details. We do not use third-party error tracking or advertising trackers.

How information is used and shared

We use account and learning data to sign you in, synchronize your progress, provide lessons, verify paid access, and respond to support requests. Supabase hosts account and learning records. Stripe handles web transactions; Apple and Superwall handle iPhone purchases. These providers process the information needed for their services under their own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal information.

Device storage

The iOS app stores queued progress and opened lessons for offline learning. Paid lessons and recordings remain available for up to seven days after access verification. Signing out removes personalized caches. Clearing device storage may remove progress that has not synchronized.

Retention and deletion

Learning data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account in settings. Learning records are deleted and retained billing records are detached from your account. Payment providers may retain transaction records under their own legal obligations. Deletion does not cancel an Apple or Stripe subscription; cancel it separately to stop renewal.

Your choices

You can learn as a guest, edit your display name, sign out, or delete your account. You can request access to or correction of your data by contacting us. We will update this page when our data practices change.
